Tattoo Booking Process with Nestor Acevedo

I specialize in large-scale tattoos that allow for intricate, detailed artistry, but I also take on smaller projects. If I’m available, I’m happy to accommodate walk-ins!

Complimentary Consultations

I offer free consultations, available at 11:30 AM or 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. During this time, we’ll discuss your project, check placement, brainstorm ideas, and plan the flow of your tattoo. It’s important to come with an open mind—sometimes what we imagine can shift when transferring the design to skin. My goal is to blend your vision with my artistic perspective, creating something truly unique. With years of experience, I know collaboration is key to achieving an amazing piece.

After the consultation, we’ll schedule your tattoo session and set a viewing date. The viewing is essential for reviewing the design, incorporating feedback, and making any final adjustments before your appointment. This ensures everything is ready and perfect for the tattoo session.

Tattoo Sessions

Tattoo sessions are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM. I take a 5-minute break every hour to stretch and move, which helps both myself and the client maintain focus and comfort. These breaks are essential, as the tattoo process requires maintaining a steady posture for both of us. The tattoo session officially begins once I start placing the stencil. Sometimes this process is straightforward, and other times we’ll need to adjust the size or placement to ensure it’s just right before moving forward.

Aftercare & Healing
Leave second skin (clear adhesive provided by artist) on for 5 days and/or follow artist requested instructions. Keep on eye out for redness caused by allergies to second skin.
After 5 days, remove second skin and thoroughly wash tattoo in warm water with a mild, unscented soap. Pat tattoo dry using a clean paper towel and allow to air-dry. Subsequently, wash the tattoo for no more than 20 seconds a day.
On the third or fourth day, or, when the tattoo begins to dry out, you may apply a thin layer of an unscented, water based moisturizer, such as LUBRIDERM, no more than twice daily. Please remember to ONLY use the lotion if the tattoo is feeling dry, tight or itchy. Too little lotion is better than too much.
Do not pick or scratch at the tattoo during healing.
Do not swim or soak the tattoo during healing.
Until healing is complete, keep your tattoo out of direct sunlight and keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight. Remember to always cover your tattoo with sunblock/sunscreen to avoid damage caused by the sun on your new ink.

Deposit Policy

Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE and will remain on file until the final session of an ongoing project. The following are cases in which a deposit can be forfeited in accordance with the studio’s policies:

If a session must be rescheduled and the client does not contact the studio within 48 hours of their scheduled time.
If the artist is unable to complete a tattoo due to a sudden change in concept or direction after the initial consultation.
If two consecutive appointments are cancelled. We will require another deposit + 15% extra charge to book a third session.

If you are late for a session and do not contact the studio at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time, you will be charged from the scheduled time of the set session. Tattoos are currently charged hourly, with a 4-hour minimum charge for any tattoo. Hourly rates are subject to change at any time.

Touch-ups are provided as part of your session for a maximum of one hour after the tattoo has been completed, with the agreement that all efforts will be made by the client to follow the provided aftercare instructions. Additional touch-ups will be scheduled within a time period of two months, depending on the availability of your artist. Touch ups are complementary for large scale projects.
